Important Info regarding the service this Sunday

As we all know, these are unprecedented times that we are facing. We must remember that God is still on the throne and none of this has caught Him by surprise. He is with us and He will see us through whatever we face.

I have to admit that it is hard to think about us not gathering as a congregation for a number of weeks. The amount of time has yet to be determined, but it’s safe to say that it will be at least 4 weeks and possibly much longer. This leaves us with the challenge of trying to create community without the opportunity to gather in large groups. One way that we will do this is through our broadcast services. We will be live on Sunday mornings at 10 AM and also on Wednesday nights for a brief devotional and prayer time at 7 PM.

We want to share some other details regarding the service that you might find helpful. The length of the service is going to be much shorter than our usual service. it will probably be around 45 minutes total from start to finish. We recognize that attention spans are shorter when watching a screen and so we want to try to keep our time as focused and engaging as possible.

While we will not be together physically this Sunday, we will be together in the Spirit. Our worship will go up to the Lord as a sweet fragrant offering and we believe that we will all be encouraged and challenged to continue to live out our faith in practical ways, helping others as we walk through these uncertain times.

“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them.” -Romans 12:12-13
